Artifacts Collection
Visitors to the museum can browse the Senator's
professional and family memorabilia, original cartoons from the Watergate era,
awards and other materials collected by Senator Ervin during his many years of
service.
The Senator Sam J. Ervin Jr. Research Collection
This collection consists of nearly 10,000 books, pieces of
correspondence, photos and public and private documents representing the
personal, professional and intellectual life of the Senator. Many visitors opt to peruse and study these documents in
the Ervin Reading
Room.
The Dr. Jean C. Ervin Mark Twain Collection
The youngest sister of Senator Sam has collected over 350 books including
first editions, and a vast array of Twain collectibles.
